Well, here’s the video of Katy Couric interviewing Joe Biden and Sarah Palin about Supreme Court cases. Sarah Palin is a joke and doesn’t know anything. Didn’t we learn the hard way that choosing a person who doesn’t know anything (Bush) is bad for the country?
During last night’s debates, while McCain was getting hammered by Obama on the Prime Minister of Spain debacle, you can hear McCain clearly say “horseshit” twice. This guy is supposed to be a leader? When someone calls you out because of what you actually did say, you respond with obscenities? On live TV no less. I wonder if the FCC is going to fine McCain. I urge everyone who was watching to contact the FCC and let them know you are not happy with the use of obscenities on the air, in a presidential debate.

That’s all I can think of. She’s just a giant practical joke. Ashton Kutcher is going to pop out any moment telling America that we just got Punk’d. Please, I hope so. If this happened in any other country Americans would be laughing their asses off. It’s happening in ours. She really is the VP choice for a major party. Unbelievable.
And for good reason. David Letterman is my new hero. Seriously, I’m glad I’m not the only one that sees McCain and his whole campaign as a joke.
This has got to be one of the best speeches I’ve heard on a bill. Sadly, not many people will see it and it will probably have little influence on the outcome. Bravo to Marcy Kaptur though.
John McCain on 60 Minutes, 9/21/08. Scott Pelley: In 1999, you were one of the senators who helped pass deregulation of Wall Street. Do you regret that now? John McCain: No, I think the deregulation was probably helpful to the growth of our economy. This is the guy that says he’s going to bring change to Washington. Sounds like the past 8 years to me.
Here is a great quote from Barack Obama speaking in Elko, Nevada.
“But it sounds like he got a little carried away, because yesterday, John McCain actually said that if he’s President, he’ll take on the — and I quote — ‘ol’ boys network’ in Washington. I am not making this up. This is someone who’s been in Congress for 26 years — who put seven of the most powerful Washington lobbyists in charge of his campaign — and now he tells us that he’s the one who will take on the ol’ boy network. The ol’ boy network? In the McCain campaign, that’s called a staff meeting.”
Barack Obama has come out with an extended ad that is dedicated to the economy. The two minute long ad outlines the major points of his economic plan. What’s interesting to note is that this isn’t like any other ad. There are no fancy graphics, quotes, and photo op shots. It’s just Obama, talking into the camera, outlining his plan. I think it’s a great ad and I hope to see it air nationally as much as possible. It’s a very powerful ad.
